What can I expect to do in this role?

As a Personal Support Worker in a Long-Term Care Facility, you will assist residents with their activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal assistance, and mobility support. You will provide emotional support, engage residents in social activities, and observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff. Your role will contribute to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

How do I qualify?

  • Successful completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program
  • Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker in Boston MA
  • Experience working in a long-term care facility is an asset
  • Compassion and empathy in providing care for elderly individuals
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a healthcare team
